Mt. Fujiwaradake

Mt. Fujiwaradake (Fujiwara only) is a mountain on the border of Suzuka National Park between Inabe City, Mie Prefecture, and Higashiomi City, Shiga Prefecture. Elevation 1144m. Located in the northern part of the Suzuka Mountains, it has been selected as one of Japan's 300 famous mountains, the Kansai 100 famous mountains, and the flower 100 famous mountains. The Mie Prefecture side is the Taiheiyo Cement Fujiwara Mine, and limestone is mined as the mountain changes. The summit is relatively flat and the top of the summit and the 1,171m altitude rocks at the northwest of the summit are the prospects. In the south, you can see the mountains of the Suzuka Mountains, including Ryugatake. In the surrounding area, it is selected as one of Mt. Hana no Hana and 100 Mt. Hana no Hana. In particular, many hikers visit during the spring flower season. Since Mt. Fujiwaradake is close to Ise Bay, it has a Pacific climate. In winter, snow clouds flow from the Sea of ​​Japan due to the northwest seasonal wind, and the summit snows. With the opening of the Sangi Line in 1931 (Showa 6), Fujiwara Ski Resort opened at the top of Mt. Fujiwaradake. Although it was interrupted for a period during the war, it reopened in 1953 in 28 (Showa 2), and Takamatsumiya was invited to open the ski area. According to the manager of Fujiwara Sanso at the time, the Sanso was full of 100 people with meals, and was crowded with 1,000 skiers on Sundays and many times. Although there were ski rentals at the mountain villa, there were many people who carried it from the fence except for beginners. There are currently no villas and evacuation huts.
