The age category has been slightly changed from the All Japan Women's Championship, and it is divided into four categories: "Junior (17 to 20 years old)", "Cadet (15 to 17 years old)", "Junior high school student" and "Elementary school student".

"Queen's Cup" will be awarded to the best junior player[3].
