Mt. Tekaridake

Mt. Tekaridake (only Tekaridake) is a mountain at an altitude of 2592m in the southern part of the Akaishi Mountains (Southern Alps). It has been selected as one of the 100 most famous mountains in Japan. It is located about 10 m south of the same elevation on the south slope of Mt. Fuji (near the 6th floor of Fujinomiyaguchi) and converted to a distance of about 300 m, and is the southernmost tip of Japan as a mountain exceeding 2,500 m. . There is no point higher in the country than Mt. Tekaridake. The top of the mountain slightly exceeds the forest limit, and it is also known to be the southern limit of the distribution of Pinus and alpine vegetation (Pinus is the southernmost native habitat of the world) and the southern limit of the grouse habitat. The top of the mountain is designated in the Southern Alps National Park and is the southernmost mountain. Coniferous forest zones such as hemlocks in the southeastern part are designated by the Ministry of the Environment as 1976 years (Showa 51 years) by the Ministry of the Environment as "Oigawa Genbu Natural Forest Conservation Area". Just east of the summit is a light hut, and the Zenjigahara between Mount Izarga forms a double ridge line, and the topography of the depression-like tortoise that is the remnant of the periglacial topography can be seen. In the surrounding area, alpine plants such as Echinochonella, Hakusan Fuuro, and Hosovatikabuto are found. In the vicinity of the light rock, there is a flock of hornflower and Miyamamurasaki, which is endemic to the Southern Alps. In Ikawa village history, it is written as "Missumi Sugaha Abe, Sugawara, Shimoina Three Group Noma Nianiri", and it used to be called "Missumi Mochi". Just under the southwest of the summit, there is a limestone rocky peak called Tekariiwa, which appears white when viewed from the Enshu side and looks bright from the Enshu side, and this is the origin of the Yamana name. It was named by the Surveyor of Land Survey Department during the Meiji period. When Takahashi Hitei of the Japan Mountain Society traveled from Mt. Akaishidake, this mountain was marked as Misumi Sakai in the fifth issue of "Mountain", the fifth of the mountain records. The place was named "Shizutakahira" in commemoration that the old system Shizuoka High School mountainous area camped in the eastern end of Zenjigahara. In 43546, Yoshihiro Tanaka's Edo-ro-ro-Kodou and others first went back to Rin Shozawa, a tributary of the Oi River with a guide made by Yu Oda, whose source stream was named "Oshakusawa." Hisashi Fukada climbed up from Eiro Pass with his friend and two in the summer of 1930.
